Registration, changes, and starting numbers
The competition takes place over three days: Friday, May 1, 2026, Saturday, May 2, 2026, and Sunday, May 3, 2026. Competitors can choose to participate in one or more events across the weekend.
Runners can choose between four main route categories:
- Sunset Vertical Run( 2,5K-250m+)
- Run 4 Wine(7,5K-150m+)
- Explorer(15k-300m+)
- Coast 2 Coast(26K-950m+)
- Hvar Marathon(42K-2100m+)
- Tour de Hvar(70K-3300m+)
- Kid’s Race (1K)
Participants can register for multiple races throughout the weekend. For example:
- Participate in the Vertical Run on Friday and any additional trail on Saturday or Sunday.
- Combine shorter and longer distances across different days for a unique challenge.
Yes, runners can register for a single race of their choice on any day.
Refunds or transfers to future events are not possible. However, for injuries or health issues, you can request a refund by emailing registration@tourdehvar.com with an official medical certificate. Refund policy:
- 90% refund for requests submitted before January 1, 2026.
- 70% refund for requests submitted between January 2 and February 1, 2026.
- 50% refund for requests submitted between February 2 and April 1, 2026.
No refunds after April 1, 2026.
Yes, you can change your selected route until April 20, 2026. After that, changes will incur a €10 fee and can only be processed at the event.
Yes, transfers are allowed until April 20, 2026, for a €20 fee. In that case please contact us on registration@tourdehvar.com.
The deadline for registration is April 24, 2026. Late registrations may be available on race day if there are remaining slots.
No, a medical certificate is not required. Each participant competes at their own risk.
The list will be published on the event website after the registration deadline.
Race numbers can be collected at the event venue in Hvar Town:
- Friday, May 1, 2026: 17:00 – 20:00 (Hvar Town)
- Saturday, May 2, 2026: 07:00 – 09:00 (Stari Grad)
- Saturday, May 2, 2026: 18.00 – 20.00 (Hvar Town)
Yes, with a written authorization from the registered participant.
Transportation and parking
Hvar is accessible by ferry or catamaran from Split, Drvenik, or other nearby ports. Timetables can be found on the websites of ferry operators such as Jadrolinija or Krilo.
Yes, transportation will be provided on Sunday from Hvar to the starting point in Stari Grad. But there won’t be transportation from the finish line to the Stari Grad after the race.
Parking is available in Hvar Town and Stari Grad. Detailed information will be shared closer to the event (in the Race Guide).
Routes and mandatory equipment
GPX files will be available for download on the event website at the end of April 2026. But you can already find a map for each race on the website.
Yes, routes will be marked with reflective flags, orange ribbons, and signs.
Time limits vary by route and are listed on the event website (check each distance).
